Zotag Search
so i created this search engine called Zotag Beta and well, its not quite done yet, but it has some good progress. right now it is basically a web search, but it is greatly expanding as more people are helping out and joining the project. theres this real great guy named Jimmy and well, he’s been a great help with adding new features to the user interface of Zspider (the program used to index web pages and then send them to the master server) and getting it to work. Theres another guy named Colum, and he’s been there for encouragement when you need it to get things done, and he has a really cool blog called Lightgames (i linked to it, so don’t worry).
I’m planning on adding new features and letting people suggest new features so it will give users what they want, even if they don’t want to search the web. Hopefully it will become a very popular search, but as of today the site has gotten over 600 unique hits a day, which is really nice considering the site has only been up a few months.
