I operate from a laptop and here are the specs on it:
Dell Inspiron 6000 (Ultimate Networking, Hacking, and Programming PC)
Memory - 1.5GB (fried one of the sticks)
Disk Space - 80GB Internal, 500GB USB External
Processor - Intel Pentium M Centrino at 2ghz
Strapped to the back of my screen (not shown in picture) (all with velcro so I can take off the components) - A 5 Port D-Link Switch, 4 USB Port Extension, 4 in 1 Card Reader, and a hard drive.
O/S: Windows XP SP3 with Ubuntu 8.04 VM Embedded
